Our Mission
To develop and promote the sport of baseball within our local community by providing guidance, leadership and opportunities for children of all ages and abilities to learn, play and grow.
We are committed to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive environment where young players can develop their skills, build confidence, form friendships and enjoy the game of baseball.
Our Vision
To be recognised and respected as one of the premier junior sporting organisations on the Gold Coast, known for our commitment to player development, quality coaching, sportsmanship and community involvement.
Our Guiding Principles
Our Children
Our children are at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to teaching baseball skills, developing teamwork, encouraging good sportsmanship and creating a safe, positive and enjoyable sporting experience.
Our goal is to provide opportunities and memories that players will value throughout their lives.
Our Coaches
Our volunteer coaches are the foundation of our club. Through their dedication, knowledge and passion for baseball, they provide a structured, supportive and encouraging environment where players can learn, improve and reach their potential.
We recognise and value the time and commitment our coaches contribute to the development of our players and our club.
Quality & Sportsmanship
We strive to deliver a high-quality baseball program across all age groups and levels of competition.
We promote teamwork, respect, fairness and good sportsmanship, encouraging all players, coaches, officials and supporters to represent the Dolphins with pride both on and off the field.
Financial Accessibility
As a not-for-profit community sporting organisation, our club relies on player registration fees, sponsorships, donations and fundraising activities.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to play baseball, regardless of their financial circumstances. We are committed to working with families experiencing financial difficulties to help make participation possible.
Our Community
We are proud to be part of the northern Gold Coast community and are committed to building strong, lasting relationships with local families, businesses and community organisations.
Through volunteering, fundraising, community involvement and supporting local initiatives, we aim to make a positive contribution both on and off the baseball field.
Together, we are more than just a baseball club. We are the Runaway Bay Dolphins — building skills, friendships, confidence and community through baseball.
